Upcoming Industry Events & Trade Shows Featuring Enercon

Past Events

  • Enercon was proud to participate in the 2026 IEEE PES Transmission & Distribution Conference & Exposition, held May 4–7 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. As one of the premier events for the power and energy industry, IEEE PES T&D brought together utilities, engineers, manufacturers, consultants, and technology providers to explore the future of transmission and distribution systems.

This year’s conference focused heavily on strengthening the electric grid for the demands of tomorrow. With aging infrastructure, rapid electrification, increased load growth, and the continued push for greater reliability and resilience, the event provided a valuable platform for industry leaders to discuss the technologies and strategies shaping the next generation of power delivery. Sessions and discussions covered a wide range of topics, including grid modernization, energy storage, substation resilience, wildfire mitigation, data center growth, automation, distributed energy resources, and the need for reliable, affordable energy delivery.

Enercon exhibited at the event in Booth 2005, engaging with attendees and showcasing its capabilities in total power solutions, switchgear, and controls. The conference provided an excellent opportunity for the Enercon team to connect with utility professionals, engineers, contractors, and other power industry leaders while discussing the role that custom-engineered power systems play in supporting reliable and resilient energy infrastructure.

Throughout the week, the Enercon team had the opportunity to walk the show floor, meet with existing partners, develop new relationships, and gain insights into the latest innovations impacting the power generation and distribution landscape. The event’s strong focus on grid reliability and modernization aligned closely with Enercon’s mission to provide dependable, scalable, and engineered power solutions for demanding applications.

IEEE PES T&D also highlighted the importance of collaboration across the power industry. From technical sessions and panel discussions to the exhibit hall and networking events, the conference served as a valuable forum for exchanging ideas and exploring solutions that can help utilities and power providers meet today’s growing energy challenges.

For Enercon, the event was a successful and energizing experience. The team returned from Chicago with valuable industry insights, meaningful connections, and a renewed commitment to supporting the future of power delivery through innovative switchgear, controls, and integrated power solutions. As the energy industry continues to evolve, Enercon remains dedicated to helping customers build reliable, resilient, and efficient power systems for the demands ahead.
