Enercon was proud to participate in the 2026 IEEE PES Transmission & Distribution Conference & Exposition, held May 4–7 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. As one of the premier events for the power and energy industry, IEEE PES T&D brought together utilities, engineers, manufacturers, consultants, and technology providers to explore the future of transmission and distribution systems.
This year’s conference focused heavily on strengthening the electric grid for the demands of tomorrow. With aging infrastructure, rapid electrification, increased load growth, and the continued push for greater reliability and resilience, the event provided a valuable platform for industry leaders to discuss the technologies and strategies shaping the next generation of power delivery. Sessions and discussions covered a wide range of topics, including grid modernization, energy storage, substation resilience, wildfire mitigation, data center growth, automation, distributed energy resources, and the need for reliable, affordable energy delivery.
